Marc Villà

Marc Villà is sociologist at the Central University of Venezuela and an audiovisual media maker. He collaborates with the TV channels VIVETV and AVILATV, and with the CONAC (National Council of Culture) of the Ministry for Culture. He’s also member of the audio-visual cooperative Primiera Voces. His documentaries won several awards in many contests in Latin America and Europe. Some of the best ones are: La seducción tiene cara de viario, Petróleo Pueblo, Alegría de la Tierra, La Vega resiste, El rescate del cerebro de PDVSA. He takes part in several social initiatives in his country, i.e. Red de Organizaciones Afrovenezolanas (Network of the Afrovenezuelan Organisations), la Comisión Nacional de Desaparecidos (National Committee of the “Desaparecidos”), Telesur, la Misión Madres del Barrio.
