Orsola Casagrande is copyreader of the Italian newspaper "Il Manifesto".
She worked as correspondent from Ireland and London. She’s been attending for several years to Turkey and Kurdistan and she has just written the book ’Berxwedan. Resistenza (Resistance), about the Kurdish liberation movement. She also wrote Minatori (Odradek), a book about the last Welsh coalmine and the fight of the miners against its closing.
She translated and edited books of Gerry Adams, Ronan Bennett, Joseph O’Connor.
