As it happened during past years’ summits, this “seditious meeting” of world’s powers is to take place in an isolated place, right in the middle of German woods and close to the Atlantic ocean. There are going to be organized international camps and accomodations for about 15000 people.

Convergence Centers:
There will be 3 Convergence Centers around Germany:
In Hamburg there will be a Convergence Center open from 25th of May to 10th of June.
Of course there is the Rostock convergence center, and another one is going to take place in Berlin.

Geography and territory:
For a better mobility, knowledge of territory and coordinations between affinity groups are fundamental. It is therefore important to know the geography of Rostock and around Heiligendam and having a look at this unusual Redzone.

Special Radio Broadcast "SmashTheG8" by GlobalProject.
Global Project, in collaboration with Sherwood Radio and Radio Kairos, informs everyone of a new weekly program. On air every week, we shall open a new space of discussion among movements.
The broadcasting will especially focus upon the issues related to the mobilisations against next G8 summit.
Deepenings, interviews, initiatives, contacts and dates are to be the main themes of this program, which is to be built together with all European networks that from June 1st to the 8th will reach Rostock to oppose capitalist politics with the aim of building another Europe "from below".
