Wednesday May 9th, 2007 17:53 Germany, Hamburg - The police left the Rote Flora open after 3 hours of raid

The police left the Rote Flora open after 3 hours of raid and activists went in to coordinate demonstration today in the evening and to reconstruct the destroyed doors.
Police interest was most handwritten information and protocolls about preperation against g8 and some flyer about mobilisation.
There were all together 6 objects raided today in hamburg including the Rote Flora and all the computer were taken.
Also some of the people the repression was aiming at had to make fingerprint and DNA data was taken from police.
The police says in their press release that they want to find out, who was organising the arson attacks the last months and who wants to prepare stuff like this for the coming g8 summit.
It is possible that they make a second wave of raids soon after to get more information about structures and to construct an "organisation" which they can blame with §129a.
This paragraph is used usually especially to observe structures legally on a very high level.

There will be activities later on in Hamburg, meeting point Rote Flora, 7pm

Braking news: Over 4000 gathered yesterday evening at the Rote Flora, one of the Social Centres raided by the police yeserday morning. Police tried, unsucessfully, to prevent the demonstration from happening.Police followed the demonstration with 6 watercannons. After several sprints and a powerful march through the street people gathered at the Rote Flora starting to barricade the street (by moving building site fences). police used battons and watercanons to dispers people.
