The conclusive conference of the electoral campaign
Shortly after the conference he was temporarily arrested and expelled from Jerusalem when he tried to join the Friday prayer.
Dr. Barghouti’s evaluation of the electoral campaign is positive. He believes it has prooved that the Palestinian people are ready for a democratic state, also thanks to his campaign that prooved the existence of a democratic power that could balance the pervasive strenght of Al Fatah party.
In the audio file all the issues of the campaign and a preview of the first steps to be taken after the elections, first of all an international conference to restart a peace process between Israel and Palestine.
