We, the activists of the Social Centers of Northeast Italy, are in solidarity with the struggle of our brothers and sisters of the Social Center Ungdomshuset of Copenhagen.
We demand the immediate release of all those arrested during the resistance against the demolition. We have therefore occupied the Danish Consulate in Venice.
For us, the activists of Social Centers, every free place is a Common Good, a concrete form of the absolute democracy for which we fight, every day, in every street of Europe and the whole world. It is unacceptable that Ungdomshuset, an experimentation for over 20 years, of liberty and creativity, has been destroyed by the powers that be to make room for a fundamentalist sect that hates differences, the multitudes, and humanity.
We, with this action, support every initiative that the brothers and sisters of Copenhagen will soon undertake to retake a space and a time, free and autonomous.
