He was born in Caserta 45 years ago. He started working as a journalist for a radio and for some left-oriented magazines.
He moved in the Middle East on behalf of a Rome syndicate: there he began to write for il Manifesto, an Italian left-oriented independent newspaper of whom he then became a correspondent from Jerusalem.
On behalf of il Manifesto he followed the Palestinian Intifada and he was invited to Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan and other Middle East countries, as well as to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, in Central Asia.
At the moment he’s writing his first book about the Middle East conflict.
