One more time an independent media is under attack.
Some days ago (6th May n.d.r.) activists from Indymedia Ecuador were arrested during an police operation coordinated by Latinoamerican Interpol and the Ecuadorian special corp GIR.
The police operation was taken place in the morning of the 6th of May and after that special corps raided the houses, 5 activists from Indymedia Ecuador were arrested. The supposed crime is not so clear, but ecuadorian police and interpol build up accuses around "use of false documentation".
It is real clear indeed the attempt of the police to criminalize one more time who are making another way of communication, always indipendent both from below.
Where the conflicts are, indipendent medias go and move.
