13 days after Israeli troops entered Gaza on a blood spree, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon remains adamant the onslaught will continue, despite the Israel armed forces’ recommendation to withdraw. The excessive and disproportionate use of force by Israel in the northern Gaza Strip’s most heavily populated areas of Jebaliya, Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya has resulted in a massacre of defenseless Palestinians. The death toll in Gaza now stands at more than 100, the wounded more than twice that number. Among the dead are a confirmed 45 civilians - of them, 25 were children.
